2.5 Hour Introduction to Rock Climbing Session:
Let our expert guides teach you to climb real rocks right here in Ohio! Whether you've tested your skills on an indoor climbing wall or have never even clipped into a rope, we'll set you up with a great guide and gear to teach you the proper top rope climbing techniques. Just bring a sense of adventure! Beginner, intermediate and advanced routes are available.
We'll start you out with a 20'-40' climb that you'll rappel down. You don't need to be an expert or an athlete to climb and descend these cliffs.

All Cleveland rock climbing treks at Whipps Ledges are booked by calling 740.777.2579. No online booking option is available at this time. Please book a minimum of 14 days in advance to allow for Cleveland Metroparks day use permits to be issued.

4-Hour Rappelling Trek:
You'll start out rappelling 10' to 30' rocks and get comfortable with the techniques needed to step off and walk down the cliff face. From there you'll make a move to another section of the cliff and rappel 50' and 80' at a local spot we call Amazing Grace.

While we do not cancel or reschedule due to weather forecasts, we do stay safe with regards to lightning or heavy rain. At our discretion, we may pause an event for a weather delay and resume when it has become safe to continue.
